EVENING PRAYER - " PSALM23 NIV" March 24, 2020
"The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and thy staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me; in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

PRAYING OVER HEALTH CARE STAFF - specifically this morning including some Nurses who asked specifically. Know that your name has been lifted up to God.

"Lord Jesus, many of of Doctors, Nurses, and all who work in Hospitals, Senior Centers, Clinics, are putting themselves on the "Front Lines" today .... because you have called them to. We understand that this is more than a "job" .... this is how you've gifted them to serve and be an extension of YOU in this world. I pray your "hedge of protection" around each person, Lord. Keep them mindful of washing, masking, gloving, safety ... for themselves and others. But, keep them compassionate in this trying time too. Grant them courage and rest to do it all over again tomorrow. In your name I pray. Amen." - Pastor Lori VonHoltum, Balaton UMC 03/24/2020 7:06am.

I went for a walk today. I knew that I needed to in order to practice some self-care. It did me some good.
I'm standing in Center-Field ... well more like "Short-Stop" but that'll work too 🙂

"Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespassed against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom and the power, and the glory, FOREVER. Amen."
